Last Writes® Service Policy

In order to receive any kind of support and to receive the latest upgrades to the program, it will be necessary to subscribe to our MANDATORY Service Policy. At the present time, the policy is only $300.00 per year(We've been told that the SP price of our competitors falls in the $500-$700 per-year range.).

Having the Service Policy entitles you to the following:

1. Unlimited hours of support per month.

2. Free downloads of any new versions.

3. Custom color logos on your letterhead, Purchase Contract , Memorial Folders, Clergy Record and more.

4. Free monthly backup program. This program provides a safe, secure, off-site backup for all of your critical Last Writes® data. All data is encrypted before being sent off-site. (For an additional fee of $150.00 per year we will do a WEEKLY backup of your data.) 5. Discounts (in some cases free) for customized forms (customization requests usually must have an "across the board" application to be accepted).

6. Scanned signature capability - add your signature to more than a dozen forms in Last Writes.

If you fail to renew your annual Service Policy, the above 6 services will cease to function.

We also need to point out that our Service Policy is like insurance. Some customers are of the opinion that they can let the SP payment slip until they need service. That really isn't the way it works - you don't wait to have a house fire before you buy home insurance or an automobile accident before you buy car insurance. We are constantly receiving calls from clients who have problems which are unrelated to the actual LastWrites program itself. Most are computer problems, PC replacement procedures, printing problems, hardware problems and network problems. We do our best to handle those problems also and will continue to do so as part of the Service Policy.

Form upgrades are a continuing process and a new release is made available to subscribers when necessitated
by requirements, or when sufficient changes have been incorporated to make it beneficial to users.

Again, if you elect NOT to purchase the Service Policy, you are NOT eligible to receive support of any kind.
